This tutorial you will learn how to Arch your Text in Inkscape so you can import it into Sure Cuts A Lot.

First you will need to create a Circle and Convert it to a Path
To convert to path go to Object> Object to Path
We are then going to use the Node Editor tool and select the Nodes on the Left and Right
Once we have the those Two Nodes selected it's time to break them apart so we will by going to the BeakApart Node button

That will allow us to separate the Circle to give us that arch we need to wrap some text around.

Now we can type our text using the text tool.

Make sure your Text is on the Top part of the layer by going to Object> Move to Top and that you select the text and go to Path> Object to Path
Next we will go to Extensions> Generate from Path> Pattern Along a Path

You will need to use the following settings as above

And there is your arch!
We modified this idea from Kay at http://cleversomeday.wordpress.com/ which is a great place for inkscape and Sure Cuts A Lot software knowledge.

The video is from Kay from CleverSomeday Explains how to apply this.
